December 18

Jason Earl Carter, 26, of Eagle, Rock, was arrested for failure to appear and failure to pay. He was held in lieu of a $1,187.14 bond.

Jody Lynne Locklin, 22, of Berryville, was arrested on a court commitment. She was held without bond.

Daniel Noel Uribe, 21, of Green Forest, was arrested for failure to appear and on a bond surrender. He was released upon payment of a $955 bond.

December 23

Jeffery Phillip Miller, 21, of Elkins,, was arrested for court commitment. He was held without bond.

Jonathan Lee Reed, 18, Cassville, MO, was arrested for public intoxication, drinking in public., He was released upon payment of $200.00 bond.

 

December 19

Martin Wade Cope, 36, of Drumright, Okla., was arrested for failure to appear. He was held without bond.

Juan Manuel Pineda, 19, of Green Forest, was arrested for criminal trespass. He was released upon payment of a $375 bond.

Michael Joseph Cruz, 29, of Van Buren, was arrested on Act 309 prisoner/trustee. He was held without bond.

Lori Ann McBride, 39, of Berryville, was arrested on a hold for the Arkansas Department of Corrections. She was released without bond.

Rosalie Gwen Levan, 50, of Green Forest, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, endangering the welfare of a minor, public intoxication, and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. She was released upon payment of a $2,100 bond.

Carl Wayne Anderson, 42, Green Forest, was arrested for Driving on suspended license, commercial driver license required, no seat belt, mo liab. ins. 2nd offense, operating a vehicle w/o license plate, hold for another agency. He was released upon payment of $1435.00 bond.

Mary Jess Clark, 37, Berryville, was arrested for driving while intoxicated, no seat belt. She was held in lieu of a $1015.00 bond.

Jeffery Arin Hendrickson, 30, Eureka Springs, was arrested for possession of drug paraphenalia, possession of a controled substance, possesion of scheduled prescription C felony. He was held in lieu of a $45000.00 bond

Carlos Lopez Garcia, 21, Indianapolis, IN, was arrested for driving while intoxicated, drivers license required, no liability ins., open container, unsafe vehicle, disregard for stop sign or light. He was held in lieu of $1410.00 bond.

Billy Dean Barnes, 23, of Berryville, was arrested for driving while intoxicated. He was released on a $750.00 bond.

Dustin Dean Rivett, 21, of Berryville, was arrested on a court commitment. He was held without bond.

Randy Deshane William Buck, 19, of Berryville, was arrested for DUI/underage, drivers license required, and failure to dim lights. He was held in lieu of a $975 bond.

Jose Roberto Barragan, 23, of Green Forest, was arrested for possession of a controled substance. He was released on a $525.00 bond.

Christopher Adam Matern, 24, of Seligman, MO, was arrested for possession of a controled substance, false evidence of title/registration, driving on a suspended/revoked license, no liability ins. 2nd offense, speeding, possession of drug paraphenalia, possession of a controled substance. He was held without bond.

Obituaries

GLADYS BERNEICE GRIFFITH

GREEN FOREST—Gladys Berneice Griffith, 83, of Green Forest, died December 19 in Springfield, Mo. She was born July 8, 1923 in Berryville, the daughter of Leslie and Bertha (Betterton) Jennings.
Mrs. Griffith was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church of Green Forest.
On July 9, 1938, she was united in marriage with Rue Griffith.
She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Bill and sherry Griffith of Violonia, Ark.; a daughter and son-in-law, Elaine and Carroll McKinney of Springfield, Mo.; two brothers, Cecil Jennings of Pea Ridge, and Bill Jennings of Fort Smith; a sister, Opal Howerton of Berryville; six grandchildren; five great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; an infant daughter, Mary Louise; and three brothers, Lloyd Jennings, Raymond Jennings, and Junior Jennings.
Funeral services were held Dec. 22 at Nelson’s Green Forest Chapel with Rev. Marvin Emmons and Buster Powell officiating. Interment followed in the Rule Cemetery under the direction of Nelson Funeral Service.

GENEVA WANDA LEE BOOTHE

BERRYVILLE-Geneva Wanda Lee Boothe, 79, of Berryville, died December 19. She was born February 10, 1927, in Crickett, Ark., the daughter of Samuel and Florence (Morgan) Box.
Mrs. Boothe was a housewife and was of the Pentecostal faith.
On August 16, 1946, she was united in marriage with Doy Boothe.
She is survived by her daughter, Carolyn Gaffga of Berryville; four sons, David Boothe, Coy Boothe, Johnny Boothe, all of Berryville, and Samuel Boothe of Camden, Mo.; 16 grandchildren; and several great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; five brothers, Hubert Box, Jesse Box, Johnny Rosco Box, Barney Box, and James Robert Box; and three sisters, Ruby Boothe, Nancy Alice Box, and Blanche Box.
Funeral services were held Dec. 22 at Charles M. Nelson Memorial Chapel with burial following in Blue Eye Cemetery.
